Since the end of 2018, Viñedos de Alfaro has been part of El Gaitero Group, a leader in Asturias’ industrial sector since it was founded in 1890. The result of the last race further proved the superiority shown by the Arcachon boat throughout the regatta. By classes, Roark won Class I; Tchin Tchin and José Luis Ribed came in first in Class II; and Christophe Bru’s Dare Dare triumphed in Class III.

Nuria Roca, Alaska, María Castro and Mario Vaquerizo, amongst many others, accepted the Sidra El Gaitero challenge: to reforest burnt areas in Cangas del Narcea (Asturias) and in the upper reaches of the River Sil between Galicia and Castile-León, in collaboration with the Brown Bear Foundation.
