The XVIII El Gaitero Regatta gets under way

Valle, Ballina y Fernández S.A. has implemented in the company the UNE EN 166.001 standard on the certification of its R&D&I project "Improvement of the competitiveness of the coffee sector through the use of coffee by-products for the development of new products", with the co-financing of the Institute for Economic Development of the Principality of Asturias (IDEPA) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The main objective of this project, in which El Gaitero cooperates with an agri-food company and a coffee company, is the use of coffee by-products for use in the agri-food industry in the development of new products.
