Five wines from the Alfaro vineyards featured in the 2020 edition of the Peñín Guide

Five of the wines produced by the Alfaro vineyards, owned by El Gaitero Group, have received a rating of around 90 points in the 2020 edition of the Peñín Guide, demonstrating the excellent average quality of the wines made by this winery located in the east of La Rioja

These excellent results come in the wake of the successes at international events in recent months such as the Concourse Mondial de Bruxelles and the UK Decanter Awards. On this occasion, however, the good news comes from a Spanish source.

As the publication explains, the Peñín Guide is the most extensive handbook of Spanish wines in the world, as its professionals taste more than 11,000 wines each year. As a result, it is the most popular guide amongst wine amateurs and professionals alike.
